Triple Superphosphate (TSP) is a highly concentrated phosphorus fertilizer primarily composed of phosphate (P₂O₅), typically containing around 45–50% available phosphorus. It is produced by reacting phosphate rock with phosphoric acid, resulting in a water-soluble compound that is readily absorbed by plants. TSP is widely used in agriculture to promote root development, flowering, and fruiting, particularly in phosphorus-deficient soils. Its granular form allows for easy handling, precise application, and uniform distribution, making it suitable for a wide range of crops, including cereals, legumes, fruits, and vegetables.
